Successful.  Yes Peanuts was a drop in the bucket.  This was the real deal.  We found a small two person company who had money for the license and away we went.  This time we were really in the middle of the deal.  If fact it was the hottest release of cards in 1993.  The entire deal involved only three people and the licensee.  The cards could not be made fast enough and in the end they weren’t.  In less than 18 months the company had over two hundred competitors with many more to follow.  While the getting was good for a while when all the competition entered the marketplace it cut down on everyone’s market share, margins and diluted profits.  Still that being said the project netted in the mid 6 figures before the doors were closed.
